There are countless articles and tips pages for Bash out there telling you how to repeat the last command, or the arguments of the last command, etc, but nowhere could I find what seems like the most useful thing to me: how to repeat the last command without any of the arguments. I really don’t get why it’s seemingly so useful to do the complete opposite to this. How often will you be using the same set of arguments to a different command?
